I believe that effective therapy happens within the context of a safe and supportive relationship. With this in mind, I prioritize the therapeutic relationship in my work, emphasizing warmth, safety, trust, respect, and meaningful connection. I work with individuals, couples, and children, and have extensive experience working with the LGBTQI+ community. In our work together I will invite you to be curious about yourself and investigate the root cause of specific issues, while also helping you to access and strengthen your own unique and natural abilities to cope with distress and challenges that life may bring.
I have treated individuals suffering from a variety mental health related issues and life transitions/challenges. With couples I work with examining patterns, facilitating communication, and healing attachment wounds. I also have experience with Consensual Non-Monogamy and Polyamory and can support couples interested in exploring this as an option for them.
It takes immense courage to enter therapy and experience the changes that this process can yield. It is not always easy to face our pain head-on and to trust someone else to hold that space for us. It is therefore my goal to successfully align with you, meet you where you are at, and walk along side of you in your path towards healing and transformation.
