I believe finding the right fit with a therapist can be such an important step in your therapeutic journey. My approach to counseling is focused on understanding your unique story and collaboratively tailoring sessions to meet your distinct needs in an empathic and supportive manner. I tend to incorporate a variety of methods with the goal of helping you work through your concerns, enhance self-compassionate responding, and uncover techniques to help you live your life in line with what is truly important to you.
With individuals, this usually looks like uncovering the roots of specific concerns, recognizing how they play out in current struggles, and then learning new ways of building a meaningful life. With couples, the goal is often to foster greater emotional connections, communicate through challenges, and recognize ways of building a meaningful life together.
The people I usually work with are adults experiencing anxiety, depression, or life transitions. I believe therapy is a journey and I find it a privilege to be a part of the process. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I offer free phone consultations to potential clients to ensure we are a good match.
