There is nothing more difficult than struggling and not knowing where to turn for help. I would be honored to come alongside you as you navigate this process. I work with teens (12 and up) and adults who are experiencing eating disorders/disordered eating, body image issues, anxiety/OCD, depression, and PTSD. It is my goal to help you transform trauma into wisdom, author new stories, and assist you in tapping into your inherent resilience, strength, and worthiness. It is my belief that all of us are capable of healing and recovery, of becoming our truest, most beautiful selves.
I work from a trauma-informed lens. Guided by my belief that healing is holistic, I address emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and past experiences, looking at how the past is impacting and maintaining present patterns. When treating eating disorders, I use a non-diet/HAES approach. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
I bring empathy, sincerity, and warmth to each session. I believe that my showing up as my most authentic, honest self frees you to do the same.
