Navigating life after trauma, grief, or any life adjustment can bring a plethora of emotions to the surface in ways that can feel isolating and stressful. Whether it be anxiety, depression, anger, grief, or interpersonal relationship stress, talk therapy can help to find yourself again. Although I am passionate about helping those affected by Complex PTSD, Anxiety, Addiction, and Eating Disorders, I utilize DBT, CBT, and Narrative techniques for all my clients in an effort to find peace.
Being vulnerable and opening up to someone new can be a challenge. I aim to create a safe space for everyone to feel at ease. I believe that the client is the expert to their own lives and my role is to help the client come to their own conclusions. By offering empathic support, I hope to expand the client's ability to express their needs.
Whether it be depression, anxiety, navigating interpersonal relationships, career transitions, or adjusting to a new life challenge, taking the first step to talk to someone can be difficult. My goal is to help the client release the emotional burden they have been carrying and make new meaning out of what life brings.
