My training goes beyond traditional talk therapy and encompasses Play Therapy for children; Somatic Experiencing Training and the Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM) for teens and adults that enables people to get to the root of their disconnection so that they can feel more alive and connected to themselves. I utilize these specialized trainings in both play therapy and trauma resolution to resolve concerns such as: family stress, divorce, relational trauma, discipline and behavioral problems, and anxiety.
I have spent much of my career pursuing advanced trainings in PT, SE, and NARM, as well as healing from my own experiences. I believe we can only take our clients as far as we have been willing to go ourselves. We all experience relational trauma on some level and the healing from these experiences requires a collaborative, attuned, and safe relationship.
I always endeavor to bring an empathetic spirit to my work with clients. I have an unwavering belief that all people can develop the knowledge and skills needed to ease their suffering, heal from past and present circumstances, and maintain a life founded on health, inner-peace, and one's own ability to care for one’s self.
