I see my clients as the unique individuals that they are and will take a collaborative approach with you to the therapeutic relationship. I recognize my clients as the expert on their own experiences. In practice I take a humanistic approach to working with a range of concerns. I see adolescents ages 12 and up as well as adults. My practice style is person-centered and integrative oriented to best meet the needs of my clients. My training and experience is in trauma-informed, culturally responsive cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and narrative therapy,
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, body image, low self-esteem, life transitions, LGBTQ+ issues, and self-injury/suicidal ideation. I am passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients and families; including but not limited to assisting clients in their ongoing journey of identity exploration, helping parents support LGBTQ+ children.
Experiences of marginalization can have an immense impact on well-being and I invite those experiences into session. I come to our work together as a queer, biracial cisgender woman of Indian and Western European descent and look forward to meeting you in session.
