I am a licensed clinical psychologist who provides warm and compassionate therapy for adolescents and adults. I offer individual and family therapy, as well as dialectical behavior therapy skills training, prenatal and postpartum support, parenting skills, and consultation services. I take an active role in guiding treatment and believe that the foundation of therapy is finding someone you can open up to and feel supported by. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where we work together to reduce distress and develop plans that will create positive changes.
My treatment approach is practical, solution-focused, and strength based, and incorporates cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy (CBT/DBT), supportive and dynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness practice, play therapy, and behavior management techniques to promote emotional health and well being.
We offer psychological and psycho-educational evaluations to children and adults. Evaluations can be helpful when there is lack of clarity or understanding regarding the reasons and causes of emotional, psychological, learning, or behavioral challenges.
