We are intended to grow, evolve, and thrive. My role is to be one part of a healing and growth-oriented journey, - helping to clarify and navigate the struggles and problem areas that get in the way of achieving these things. I am experienced in treating a variety of problem areas including trauma, coping challenges, grief and relationship difficulties. I am also specialized in treating individuals with and affected by addiction. I work with families and couples, as well as facilitate psychotherapy and recovery groups. My approach is holistic and integrative, tailoring my interventions to meet the individual's therapeutic needs.
I utilize a range of modalities, - much specific to helping clients get back into their bodies with somatic approaches. I also pull from psychodynamic, DBT, and others. I lean toward mindfulness-based techniques and philosophies to enhance a here-and-now approach, and to assist clients in becoming more present in their lives.
