Making the decision to begin therapy can be difficult and may weigh heavily on us yet it can make all the difference when we feel overwhelmed, helpless, or alone. If you have something in mind that you would like to see change, we can work collaboratively to address emotional barriers, past experiences, stressors, or patterns of behavior which may be negatively impacting your symptoms. I believe that a non-judgmental, safe, validating, culturally competent, and empathic therapeutic relationship is the foundation for change.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I practice from a strengths based, relational approach. In addition to Art Therapy I also use talk therapy approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Family Systems.
I enjoy working alongside my clients to find what works for them and to meet them where they are with compassion and support. I specialize in working with people who are experiencing symptoms related to Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, ADHD, life stressors, and relational conflicts.
