I want to normalize taking care of our mental health. We have a primary doctor and dentist to help us be well, why not a therapist? I believe everyone needs help at times to process their emotions and find solutions during adversity. I have over 15 years of experience in the social work field working with children, teens, and adults. I love to serve clients of all ages in their unique stages of life. I particularly love talking about women’s issues, life transitions, and spiritual issues.
I have experience as a crisis worker trained in suicide prevention. I’ve also worked in hospice care where I developed a passion for working with the aging population and their families. I specialize in Grief and Loss Counseling, CBT, DBT, Mind Body Bridging, Motivational Interviewing, Substance Abuse Treatment, Domestic Violence, Trauma Work, and EMDR.
