Welcome in my friend! My name is Rachel and I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Thrive Counseling Center. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families - currently working with teens, premarital, and adjustments in life stages for families. I have a person-centered and embodied approach, intending to explore factors in and outside of our control to tailor coping skills appropriate for the client(s).
I have a background working with teens and adults individually with a focus on emotions, empowerment, communication, and conflict resolution. In couples and family work I challenged my communication skills and the ability to set appropriate boundaries. With groups, I aim to create a supportive environment to normalize, collaborate, and build coping tools.
