Hi, my name is Rachel Eizenga. I am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate space for you to open up and explore areas of your life that may be causing distress or holding you back from accomplishing your daily tasks or life goals. I hope to provide you with tools and strategies to help you navigate issues in a healthy, empowering way and create positive change in your life. I encourage open expression of emotions, and believe that providing a validating, supportive environment, where you are held accountable, is beneficial for therapy.
I am a graduate of Rutgers University (New Jersey) with a Master’s of Social Work. I have worked with adults, adolescents, and families in both outpatient and residential settings. I have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
I am passionate about working with clients through a variety of life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relational difficulties, life transitions, spiritual/faith concerns, and trauma. Whether you have been struggling for a while with symptoms or there is a new challenge in your journey, I look forward to helping you along the way!
