Sometimes, life can be stressful, and we don't always know how to handle it. Many of us have also encountered past hardships or traumatic events that feel impossible to move on from. If that is something you relate with, I can help. Using a client-centered approach, I provide a place where you can share about your struggles and learn coping skills in order to overcome the stress you might be facing. If you are having relationship problems, dealing with anger, feeling anxious, depressed, or having a difficult time managing past trauma, I want to provide a non-judgmental and safe space where you can process through your experience.
I am trained in EMDR by an EMDRIA-approved trainer for treatment of trauma, anxiety, grief, and loss as well as a range of other issues. I also use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help you build coping skills as well as identify and challenge negative thoughts you have about yourself and others.
I enjoy working with both Adults & Young Adults Ages 16-30. Counseling Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-7:00pm. Friday 8:00am-1:00pm. We provide morning & evening groups, as well as Saturday morning group. We are handicap accessible, conveniently located in Spokane Valley. www.BTRGspokane.com.
