I also work with those struggling with general stress and overwhelm, sexuality, self-harm, communication and boundaries, life-transitions and endings, eating disorders and addiction struggles, and family dynamics and conflict. I hold space relationally with my clients, am psychoanalytically minded, and utilize a somatic approach in therapy.
Our thoughts and behaviors follow form, form which shows itself through our physical aliveness. When one is inundated with anxiety, or feeling the pings of excitement that life can often bring- the body takes shape. I can help you find agency and choice in how you are living yourself, in the many layers to your world.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a part of the corporate world and spent a decade teaching Pilates and movement. I understand the social pressures that our work can bring. I work with therapeutic modalities such as Formative psychology, various approaches to trauma release, Somatic Experiencing, along with evidence based CBT and mindfulness practices.
