Before joining Tandem Mental Health Associates, Rachel worked various roles within the mental health field, including residential counselor, behavioral therapist, crisis intervention responder, college counselor, and intensive in-home counselor. Currently, Rachel is training to become a Certified Career Counselor. She is an active member in the AMCD and VCA.
Rachel views counseling as a collaborative journey between client and counselor. She provides a safe space for the client to problem solve. Outside of work, you will find Rachel enjoying a good book, widening her already large collection of tea, enhancing her culinary skills and furthering her knowledge on the practices of Mindfulness and meditation.
