Do you hope for an open-minded and progressive therapist? Do you have lifestyle considerations that you hope will be embraced and understood? Do you wish to target and resolve past traumas? I am experienced in treating PTSD and complex trauma using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I meet clients where they're at and make goals that fit their current needs. I am LGBTQIA+, kink- and polyamory-aware, and neurodivergent-affirming. I am full but adding to a wait list or referring to other MMW clinicians.
I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, both acute and complex. I am also trained in and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. While I am trained in DBT, I don't currently practice it.
I would really like to discuss your needs and hopes for therapy, either on the phone or with a Zoom consult. I take interest in cases with complex trauma, neurodivergence, and intimate partner violence (domestic violence).
