I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Art Therapist. My approach to the therapeutic process is to create and hold a nurturing, secure and restorative space for all of my clients. In sessions, I use the natural healing elements of art and mindfulness while using my understanding of relational, feminist, cognitive behavioral, and client-centered theories to create a holistic approach.
I have experience working with families and clients who have issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, identity and self-esteem concerns, pediatric and adolescent therapy, and work/life transitions. In my work I blend together art therapy interventions and other counseling techniques. I provide my clients with not only art skills but life skills.
