We spend so much of our lives searching for meaning and purpose in life that most end up missing the vital part of living. Have you been feeling tense or stressed? I provide individual therapy to adults, Young adult adolescents, and children who are struggling with challenges such as anxiety, depression, parenting issues, stress, sleep disorders, PTSD, life transitions, and relational issues.
I draw mostly from cognitive-behavioral principles and teach specific and compelling Skills to help clients understand and manage the psychological and behavioral factors that influence their mental health and well-being. I also have a background in Functional Family Therapy, so I integrate aspects such as relational and strength-based skills in my session.
I emphasize a collaborative, solution- focused, goal- oriented approach to therapy. I integrate skills such as mindfulness, sleep hygiene, stress management. I provide a safe and empathic space for clients to examine and work through the issues or problems that are holding them back. My style tends to be relatively conversational and relaxed, with humor.
