Hello, I'm Quinne. I have been in the Social Work field since 2006, and have focused most of my career in behavioral health and public health. I often spend a lot of time working with folx around healthy relationships, attachment, trauma healing, the complexities of identity, and I work from an anti-oppressive practice lens. I often bring considerations of intersectionality and privilege into the room. I identify as Queer and Biracial myself, and often support folx in these realms. I like to have a consultation with folx to see if we are a good fit, and think it's important for folx to find the therapist that is right for them.
I'm mostly interested and curious about what brings you to therapy now. I find that most folx have ideas around relationships or areas of their life/emotional wellbeing that they would like to explore and understand. In time, you may have more insight and intention around how you want to engage, heal, or set intentions for moving forward.
I have worked with individuals and youth who've experienced complex trauma and/or major life events. I have also worked with a lot of folx around acceptance, self-esteem, depression, anxiety and lack of motivation. I want to center compassion and self-love/curiosity as we partner to sort through the often immeasurable difficulties of life.
