I am honored to advocate support and empower children and their families to over come life’s difficulties. I use a person-centered approach meeting individual where they are. I strongly emphasis on co-creating an environment where clients feel safe, while challenged to become the best versions of themselves. Many of us fall within the spectrum of dealing with challenges by confronting them head on or by simply avoiding it altogether, but I’m here to help establish a healthy balance pointing out behaviors that are in your control and understanding that it’s okay to not always be okay.
Teaching healthy ways to communicate thoughts and feelings is my passion. I have worked with families in the school setting, in homes and in the community.
I see children and adults while specializing in treating child trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety and depression. I work on creating strategies that help work through distress, skill building and provide practical ways to response to life’s difficulties.
