Psychology Specialist of Maine is the largest private outpatient therapy center in Maine. With over 30 experienced doctoral level psychologists providing in person and online therapy, we have therapists with expertise across all specializations and client populations. Psychology Specialists of Maine is currently holding five weekly ONLINE dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills groups. DBT is an evidence-based treatment approach traditionally recommended for borderline personality disorder; however, research suggests that this model is appropriate for clients struggling generally with chronic difficulties in emotion dysregulation. The group is offered weekly online on Wednesdays 5:00PM to 6:30PM. We are currently accepting new group members. It is also an open group, which means that you are more than welcome to join the group after it had started.

Open to all undergraduate and graduate/professional students who are physically located in Maine or one of following 26 states (AL, AZ, AK, CO, DE, DC, GA, Il, KS, KY, MD, MN, MO, ME, NV, NH, NJ, NC, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV) for the Fall 2022 semester.
