Hi there! Thank you for considering my practice. I have extensive expertise in the following areas: depression/bipolar disorders, anxiety, trauma, parenting issues, behavioral disorders, family discord and child/adolescent issues (though I work with lots of adults too). My modality is eclectic; however, my approach is tailored to what will work for your unique situation. I have expertise in the area of psychological assessment. I conduct assessments weekly for ADHD, learning differences, behavior disorders, etc. I am a frequent speaker in the DFW metroplex and have been featured as an expert panelist on NPR. But above all, I privilege my clients and their voice.

Dallas Therapeutic Services is a group practice uniquely managed to fit the needs of most clients! When the group formed, care was taken to choose clinicians with a variety of backgrounds and specialities. We want to provide an environment, where we can match clients with their best fit therapist. Additionally, we are able to psychological testing for ADHD, Autism, IQ (processing speed, working memory, comprehension and perceptual reasoning as well IQ score) and personality (diagnosis) - all of which can help with differentiating diagnoses and planning treatment accordingly.

I've worked with children & adolescents in clinical outpatient settings, including individual, family, & group therapy, and intensive in-home services. I have provided community support services to adults with mental health & substance abuse diagnoses to help increase self-sufficiency. I've worked in research settings studying the effects of domestic violence on children and evaluating the effectiveness of Systems of Care for children with severe emotional / behavioral disturbances. I have experience with psychological testing, including intellectual / personality assessment and tests of academic achievement. I use psychological assessment for diagnostic clarification, level of care determinations, and providing other therapeutic recommendations.

I have specialized in the evaluation and treatment of patients with chemical / environmental sensitivity and/or who have been exposed to neurotoxic substances for more than 30 years. I conduct neuropsychological evaluations for litigation and/or disability issues (private or Social Security disability). I also evaluate patients with ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, MS and chronic pain. The goal of therapy is to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression associated with chronic physical illness and improve coping ability.

Natalie Friedrich, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas. Dr. Friedrich has received extensive training in psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational testing and evaluations for individuals of all ages: 20 months – adult. She also received official training in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd Edition (ADOS-2) and specializes in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Friedrich has a passion for working with parents of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and of children with disruptive behaviors.
