We are currently accepting new patients. Houston Psychotherapists, Inc. is a group practice that specializes in individual, family, and group psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. We provide psychological assessments and testing for children and adolescents. Our practice includes licensed psychologists, licensed professional counselors, and graduate student interns (who can provide services at a reduced rate and pro bono services) who possess training and expertise in a variety of therapeutic interventions and enjoy working together to offer treatment for a wide range of clinical concerns.

Dr. Randall McIntyre has been practicing Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry in the Austin area for over thirty years. He was raised in Midland, Texas. He holds a BA- in biology from The University of Texas - Austin, and an MD from The University of Texas Medical School-Houston. He did his internship in Family Practice at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Subsequently, he completed residencies in General and Child Psychiatry at UTHSC-Houston. He is doubly Boarded in Child and Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Kimberly Patterson obtained her PhD in Counseling Supervision with a concentration in social change from Walden University. She is also a Chopra Global certified Meditation teacher and Ayurveda Health instructor. Dr. Patterson is committed to utilizing a holistic and systemic approach to assist clients in developing a deeper awareness of self. She has worked as a psychotherapist for over 13 years and has worked in a variety of settings.

I have seven years experience working in local school districts where I had the pleasure of working with children aged 3 through 21 providing them with knowledge of coping skills, social skills, and various other skills. I have experience working with individuals experiencing ADHD, Autism, Intellectual Disability, Depression, Anxiety, and other various mental health concerns.
