Hi, my name is Prynzessin Carney, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Southern California. I meet with adult clients from diverse backgrounds all around the state via telehealth. I help clients who struggle with poor self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindful Self Compassion Therapy (MSC). My goal in therapy is to help my clients identify and meet their treatment goals.
I typically work with adult clients from diverse backgrounds who are having trouble managing symptoms related to depression and anxiety. These symptoms may be the result of past trauma, stressors of everyday life, and, at times, poor self-compassion.
I work to aid my clients in gaining clarity and coping skills so that they will be better equipped to navigate the difficulties in their lives. My communication style is engaged, calm, and empathetic. I strive to foster an environment in which my client feels at ease to express themselves without judgment and to feel heard.
