Things are really tough right now and, for some, things have been difficult for a very long time. I am here to listen with compassion and to help you work through negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are causing you distress. Your mental health is such an important part of being able to function in your everyday life and embrace who you are. I have experience working with women struggling with a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, loss, and trauma. I am especially passionate about helping women that are a part of marginalized communities receive the healing they need and deserve.
As an Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) Certified Therapist and also a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) (and no, play based therapy isn’t just for kids! ) I have a unique approach to therapy. With the use of EMDR individuals can go deeper in processing and healing from trauma.
