Our time together starts by exploring your values and learning how we can make the therapy process align best with you, ironing out the wrinkles standing in your way. The significance that the change process has on all of us, and the universality in which we can all suffer, all heal, and all forge tools to maintain wellness in our lives is what's driven me through my over 7 years of clinical experience with adolescents and adults in outpatient, inpatient, residential, and groups settings. All of this informs the values of my practice: Collaboration, Creativity, Accountability, Acceptance, and Patience.
I specialize in the treatment of mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders with a focus on OCD, Anxiety, Depression, & Trauma. I adhere to evidence-based practices, and have years experience with CBT, Exposure & Response Prevention, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
While our initial sessions together are more structured, later sessions will reflect a structure that best suits you. We establish a treatment plan allowing us to stay mindful of your goals, how we reach them, and how they change. I encourage clients to practice certain exercises beyond session to nurture relevant skills and experiences to best serve you.
