Mark is a skilled therapist with over twenty years of experience counseling diverse people in various settings. From treating chronically mentally ill adults and conduct-disordered youth to counseling broken families and school-anxious teens, Mark has learned extensive treatments in the field. He values the strength and courage clients show in their most vulnerable times. Through it all, he has learned many therapy principles; the most important being that change can be difficult. Mark approaches therapy understanding that change, with acceptance and perseverance, can build character, hope, and strength.

My goal is to help others understand who they are and the importance of their individuality during multiple stages in their life. I have been serving in the mental health field in various capacities since 2011 related to chronic mental illness and mental health crises. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor providing outpatient therapy since 2015 with a focus on anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, and relationship issues. I enjoy working with individual’s, couples, and teens. My interventions focus largely on Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as portions of Motivational Interviewing skills. I am also willing to work through spiritual issues or provide Christian counseling where desired.
