I love working with adolescents and adults. Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling better because they finally have an understanding of what is happening inside of them and know how to move forward with the different obstacles in their lives. They essentially say, they feel “unstuck.” I guide individuals in exploring their internal system, comprised of different parts that influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Have you ever said, “Well, a part of me wants this, but another part wants that?” It’s true that often we can see several sides to an issue, creating inner conflict with seemingly no resolution.
I use Internal Family Systems to help clients gain a deeper understanding of these different parts of themselves. Clients develop effective communication skills with their internal parts leading to a deeper understanding of themselves, resolution of internal turmoil, improved external relationships, increased self esteem, and an overall sense of wellbeing.
Ultimately, clients can expect to experience personal growth, increased self-awareness, and the ability to navigate life's challenges with resilience and authenticity.
