As a licensed professional counselor for over 25 years, I provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults. Also a Registered Play Therapist, Cognitive Behavior Therapist (CBT), and an Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trained therapist, I am passionate about providing a safe place for people to heal through their unique therapeutic journey. My area of expertise is working with children and adolescents.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and in Kansas, Certified School Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist as well as being trained in providing EMDR therapy. I have over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I also teach parenting skills, designed to reinforce the therapeutic progress made in sessions.
If you are concerned about your child's behaviors or worried that your child is acting out of the ordinary I can help assess the problem and provide the best treatment plan for your child. I use a client-centered approach to working with children in play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy with adolescents and adults.
