The therapeutic process should be natural and flowing. I am a thoughtful listener, energetic, and meaningful interaction is central in my method of treatment. Reducing anxiety, depression and difficulties in relationships and careers are a priority in my work as a therapist. In my experience, it is the nature of relationships and careers to become a crisis over time. Although the crisis leads to conflicts and is therefore anxiety producing, it is also an opportunity to explore experiences to achieve personal insight, personal transformation and career improvement.
I received an MSW from Columbia University. I continue to provide therapeutic services to the community as well as provide EAP services. I have experience in crisis management, depression, managing anxiety and creating a positive spin on the bigger picture. When you're doing the work in a safe space, most issues are manageable.
Based on my experience in working with adults and adolescents, I am the type of therapist most people find it comfortable to speak to and confide in because I lead as a human first. My personal interests in professional development while enjoying a work life balance, have given me the insight to help clients develop boundaries and identify solid supports.
