The 4th trimester (first 3 months after birth) is a fundamental time in any birthing person's life. Whether it's your 1st baby or your 9th, major shifts and transitions are happening physically and emotionally. However you won't typically see your own medical provider until at least 6 weeks postpartum, and that's a one-time visit. Postnatal Support Advocates believe you need connection and support right away. We can schedule in-home, in-office and/or telehealth visits during the 4th trimester and tailor a schedule to fit your postnatal emotional support needs. Maybe it's once. Maybe it's once a week. We will be with you as you need.
Postnatal Support Advocates are committed to removing or reducing costs to clients whenever and wherever possible. As masters level mental health professionals, we are able to bill your insurance for services we provide. We are also able to predetermine your insurance benefit, copay and deductible information before we visit. No surprises.
Clients are encouraged to schedule an initial consultation during their 3rd trimester, however any time after childbirth is okay too. We look forward to helping reduce risk of postnatal mental health concerns, facilitating parent/child bonding, and closing the gap in postnatal emotional support overall. We can't wait to meet you!
