I work best with clients who are motivated to welcome change into their lives and approach their symptoms/problems in a respectful and understanding way. I believe all aspects of ourselves, even problematic behaviors, are there for reasons. I help clients better understand their own behavior and what brings about tension in relationships. Together we gain understanding about the history of behavior and determine what may allow for a different experience.
I primarialy work with adults and parents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, parenting, relationship and women's issues, berevement, adjusment to medical issues, life transitions, stress management and trauma.
I have been trained and use a varity of therapeutic techniques depending on best fit for a client. Therapeutic approaches are: Psychodynamic, CBT, Interpersonal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
