We all have an inner wisdom and interior life that can inform and transform how we hold and participate in the wonder of our lives. I view psychotherapy as a threshold for those seeking a deeper connection to their own experience. Exploring how these mysterious inner resources manifest in the external environment can make it possible to view our lives from a new vantage point. I support individuals to feel more alive, awake and whole in each moment regardless of their circumstances.
My work with an analyst at the Jung Institute in Zurich offered me a way to re-member parts of myself that had seemed lost and irretrievable. That experience remains a model for being present with another. I strive to nourish a consciousness that streams from a sense of belonging.
Although I have a Jungian orientation, I draw upon Buddhist teachings, poetry, metta practice, active imagination and guided meditation. A significant aspect of this approach is a deep and abiding curiosity about the very nature of being human.
