Hi there, I'm Phuong Nguyen. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). As a therapist, I am passionate about cultivating a safe space for you to examine the challenges and barriers that prevent you from living a joyful life. I hope to use therapy as a tool to help you find healing and growth in your own journey. During my clinical practices, I come to recognize that I work well with a wide age range (children to adults) but I do work best with teenagers to young adults who might be dealing with transitions, figuring out their values/identities, relationship issues, and social pressures.
My communication style is gentle while being straightforward and compassionate. When you walk into my therapy space, I will make sure you know and feel that I genuinely care about you as a person, and I am invested in your journey towards joy and healing.
When approaching goal setting with clients, I work together with you to define what goal(s) that you would like to accomplish in our time together. This will require us to spend some time building trust and over time, we will set goals together and track your progress.
