I am currently in network with UHC, UMR, Oscar & AvMed. I am an out-of-network (OON) provider for all other insurance cos. Most PPO & POS plans allow OON benefits, HMO’s do not. Making the decision to start therapy is not always an easy one to make. For many, this decision is often complicated by personal expectations and self-judgement regarding what they “could” have done differently in the past, or what they “should” be able to change (on their own).
