I work with adults experiencing difficulties with a variety of behaviors that are holding them back from the lives they seek. These include protective behaviors like anger, anxiety, depression; numbing behaviors (alcohol or substance abuse.); distractions (goal-fixation, promiscuity, exercise, and others), and more. I work to help bring clarity and build safe connections within families, relationships at work, and elsewhere. I work to guide safe processing of grief, loss and loneliness. Together, we focus on you and your needs for emotional health.
I'm level 3 trained in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of therapy. IFS is based on a compassionate understanding of our protective behaviors having beneficial intent. With a goal to keep us safe. Our work is to bring calm, curiosity and compassion to where we find protection, meet that, and build trust so we can discover a path to help and healing.
