I have been in private clinical practice for 22 years. I have specifically trained to work with children, adolescents, young adults and older adults. My time is spent fairly equally working with mental health and substance abuse issues. Likewise, I have chosen to not focus on one specific age group, finding it to be more satisfying to see various aged people. I spend the most time with young adults, from ages of 16-26. I enjoy working with couples; though challenging, I can often offer a safe place for them to listen to one another.
I specialize in working with gifted teenagers and young adults in their struggle to achieve all they are able in emotional and social challenges. I specifically trained for substance abuse treatment and dual diagnosis work. I work with couples. Please contact me by phone with questions regarding other specialties.
I'm the Clinical Director for Beacon Counseling Services; a small group practice of independent contractors. There are many issues we have helped our clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. We invite interested clients to speak with the therapists ahead of time. The office is privately located East of MSU campus behind Coral Gables restaurant.
