I am a clinical psychologist who has been working with people from all walks of life for over three decades. People come to me because they feel stuck: Some are stuck because they've just been thrown a curve ball by life; others find themselves in relationships that no longer nourish them; still others are frightened to take the next step in their personal or vocational development. My approach is collaborative and interactive: I encourage clients to summon their emotional, mental and spiritual strengths in an effort to begin the process of moving forward. I deal largely in the "here and now" and together we assess your present circumstances.
When it serves the purpose of our work, we examine your developmental history because this frequently helps us make sense of who we are today. Perhaps most importantly, I believe in the miracle of "finding a way out of no way".
