My name is Em Purington (they/them), the therapist behind Phenomenal Play PLLC. Whatever brings you to therapy, I am honored to hold space for you and explore your world with you. I love working with clients of all ages. Together, we will develop a strengths-based plan based on specific needs, goals, strengths, and abilities. I want my clients to feel empowered and in control of what we work on.
While I work with people of all ages, I specialize in neurodivergent and gender-diverse youth ages 6-21. My approach is play-based - Play helps us make sense of the world and our experiences, and we can find new meaning and connection with others. Play therapy also reduces challenging behaviors by increasing internal growth.
