I have experience working with kids under 12 and adolescents and believe a big part of therapy is building rapport. I have 6 years of experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting and have interned in elementary schools and mental health clinics. I use a variety of treatment modalities including supportive therapy. CBT and DBT. I look forward to working with you !.

She completed training in Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT) for children and families, aimed at helping them recover from events including sexual and physical abuse. She has received certification to work with first responders by the National Emergency Responder and Public Safety Center (NERPSC).

Fontanetta is a board-certified pediatric neuropsychologist who received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology from Nova Southeastern University. She completed her clinical psychology internship at St. Vincent Neuroscience Institute-St. Vincent Hospital and fellowships at both Mass General for Children at NSMC and Stony Brook Medicine. Originally from Long Island, Dr. Fontanetta specializes in the evaluation and therapeutic treatment of children with brain-based behavior and psychiatric disorders.

Having been a practicing psychologist for 23 years, my style is cognitive behavior therapy. This involves changing the irrational beliefs behind stress, anxiety and depression.
