If you have been looking for a holistic therapist, I am so glad you are here! Anxiety and depression are two of the most common challenges to our mental health, often occurring together and creating significant distress. While psychotherapy and medications are standard treatments, current evidence supports that diet plays a crucial role in psychological well-being. By integrating nutrition, mindfulness and essential oils with traditional talk therapy, we can strive for diverse microbiomes and greater mental health. Together, we can create a holistic approach to wellness that nurtures both your body and your mind.
Nutritional psychotherapy is a combination of traditional talk therapy and customized nutrition counseling plans. I incorporate mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), narrative therapy, and person-centered, solution-focused therapy. After exploring each client’s needs and goals, we apply integrative nutrition as needed. Enrich your healing modalities!
My approach is directed towards the gut-brain axis and development of fulfilling relationships, peace of mind and optimal wellness. It is within this sacred milieu that we affect change, promote acceptance and cultivate healing. By creating a supportive space, my clients find the compassion, support, and clarity they need to embark on the road to healing.
