I really enjoy working with people who want more out of life; whether it's to reduce the impact of depression, anxiety, or pain; to move on from past experiences; or just change directions. I love being part of that journey and helping people get closer to a "life worth living." We all have a truth and a sense of when we are living in tune with the person we feel we were meant to become. Trauma, addictions, and other mood conditions force us to feel separate from that truth, and I am looking to work with people who want to reconnect with it.
I got my start back in 2005 in Wilderness Therapy and have worked in nearly every setting from wilderness to secure residential facilities, housing authorities, to hospitals. I've worked on the Mobile Crisis Team and for the last several years, as an Outpatient therapist working with adults. I've worked with a variety diagnoses and enjoy a diverse range.
I firmly believe people are doing their best. AND we can all do better, myself included! I strive each day to build quality into my own life and love to help others do the same. We did not choose the hand that life has dealt us, but we are the ones with the power to make changes. I really enjoy getting to know people and supporting the change you seek.
