At The Care Center I specialize in relationship counseling and complex trauma, PTSD, and Dissociative Identity Disorder. I help marriages or couples dealing with infidelity, blended family issues, conflict, communication issues, and couples in crisis. I'm also passionate about helping others heal from past traumas. My philosophy is to find the roots of the problems and resolve them rather than simply helping learn awkward coping skills. At The Care Center you won't learn weird communication skills or deep breathing techniques. We work on healing wounds and rebuilding trust. When you do these things you won't need more "skills."
I've been seeing couples and individuals for 20+ years. I have the highest level of training offered for Gottman Couples Therapy as well as many other treatment modalities. I also have over 100 hours additional training in complex trauma and dissociation through the International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation (ISST-D).
We know how hard it can be to ask for help which is why we will offer an initial appointment within one week of you calling. Sometimes within a day or two. We even offer early morning and Saturday appointments.
