Most of the clients I see are women dealing with trauma, low self-esteem, or eating issues and young adults experiencing anxiety. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief in impermanence, human suffering, and the power of hope. Everyone needs support and someone to talk to. I am kind, calm, and insightful. I will be interactive in every therapy session. I promise to help bring clarity and understanding to your situation or mental health issues. Progress can be made quickly. Together, we will develop new coping skills and improve your quality of life.
I specialize in three types of clients- women and young adults who are dealing with past trauma; especially from childhood abuse and neglect, people who often think they are not worthy of love or respect, and women with body image or eating issues. I draw from various therapeutic techniques depending on the client's needs. I use play therapy with children.
