Life happens, which can foster a need for healing and connection. I’ve learned that as humans, we often avoid our pain and discomfort which can keep us stuck. Depression, anxiety and trauma can often be debilitating. Learning about yourself and how to obtain your wants and needs in life is so important. Doing “the work” needed for change can be hard. As your ally and advocate, I will be present with you and in support of you, throughout your “work.”
My work is with adults and teens ages 12 and up; I specialize in treating first responders, addiction within the family, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and trauma. I provide Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which is a specialized therapy for trauma. It focuses specifically on the reduction of symptoms to move towards a life where you feel less “stuck.”
