Hello Everyone! My name is Percival Fisher, Jr. However, you can call me "Percy" and I have been providing individual and group psychotherapy for 12 years. I am here to assist you to reach your goals in therapy. I provide a safe, warm, and interactive space to talk about your presenting issues. I have experience providing therapy to individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, men issues, career counseling, "coming out"/LGBTQIA related issues, and family conflicts. I typically work with clients who present with symptoms related to depressed mood, anxiety, trauma (PTSD/C-PTSD), men's issues, and LGBTQ issues.
I utilize multiple treatment modalities (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Crisis Intervention, and Relational Therapeutic techniques) that would be best for you and your specific needs.
I enjoy working with people and hearing their stories. I became an LCSW/Psychotherapist to provide a safe and caring space to be their authentic selves. In my experience, clients did not receive such support and I wanted to provide this service and help others.
