Be proud of yourself for taking the first step for YOU. I work with adults struggling with overwhelming feelings, perinatal/ postpartum issues, anxiety, stress, and adjusting to life changes. Your pregnancies, delivery, or postpartum may not go as you hoped for, and we be left all alone with trying to cope with what happened, while being a new parent. Whether you are looking to find your new self as a parent, or not putting as much pressure on yourself.
My approach is client-driven and we will work together collaboratively. I am a licensed counselor, certified school counselor, and have training in perinatal/postpartum mental health through Postpartum Support International.
Most clients are feeling burn out, overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, or they are not doing enough. Together we can identify, and work through past trauma that has caused us to feel stuck, stagnant, or overwhelmed. Having a therapist that you feel comfortable is important.
