I primarily use the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model to help you explore and heal the many parts of yourself, even when they feel conflicting. By combining this approach with mindfulness, somatic therapy, and expressive arts, I’m here to support you as you navigate challenges and embrace all aspects of who you are. My goal is to help you shift from overthinking to experiencing life more fully in your body and in the present moment. I believe that a strong relationship between client and therapist is key to effective therapy. Together, we'll create a warm, non-judgmental space built on trust and mutual respect.

Using modalities such as Gestalt, Somatic Work, IFS, EMDR, and Creative Arts, I use a heart-centered empathetic, and empowering approach, sprinkled with humor, to create a safe space to explore and discover yourself.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to make things better? Do you sense there’s something more to life but can’t quite grasp what it is? In a world filled with “supposed to's” and “have to's,” it’s easy to feel burdened and trapped, longing for change but unsure where to start. I understand the weight of these feelings, and I’m here to help. Together, we’ll explore the messages that have shaped your life, digging deeper to uncover the quintessential you. Through our heart-centered work, we'll stay connected to your strengths, guiding you towards the life you truly desire

I especially use a somatic framework to deepen a client's experience of self so that they can bring a fuller sense of self to their situation.
Clients describe my therapeutic style as interactive, warm, and reassuring. It isn't easy to disclose personal challenges, but my clients have responded pretty quickly to my efforts to build rapport, explore issues, and experiment with solutions. Sometimes this work has been about learning new coping skills, and sometimes the work has been about digging deeply into the past to uproot old patterns that dampen the spirit. In my work with clients--whether individual or couples--I include a focus on integrating body awareness into the work of the heart and mind, so that more profound healing may take place.

Through mindfulness, somatic, coping practices, I'll empower you to navigate life's challenges.
Learning how to hold space for yourself and your emotions can be difficult. You deserve a space to slow down, take a breath, and connect with what matters most to you. I'm here to hold that space for you, as you are. I really cherish working with humans who are experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, or are in the midst of pivotal life shifts. I also specialize supporting you to healing from trauma, specifically the type of trauma that’s made you feel unseen, unheard or if you've felt unloved. We'll access a place inside you that allows you to become more curious and aware of what you may be experiencing.

Somatic Therapy with me will help you focus on new ways to process the sensations in your body and allow your nervous system, your mind and your body, to develop new, clear ways to communicate your needs, wants and feelings to yourself and to others so that you can find new ways to respond.
Tension is building inside of you and lashing out or shutting down seem to be the only way to deal with this feeling. But this is not how you want to live your life. Acting in these ways is harming you and your relationships. You vow to stop this, to do things differently, but it keeps happening over and over again. They say you are “too sensitive” or you need to “lighten up.” But it just feels like no one sees you or understands you. There is so much responsibility on you and when you are dismissed the resentment gets even bigger. You can't imagine how therapy can possibly help when it feels like everyone else is the problem.

My approach to therapy is psychodynamic with a touch of humanistic theories such as emotion-focused, somatic, and narrative.
You may be here experiencing emotional pain, feeling stuck, sadness, fear, or generally unheard or not understood. You may have experienced different kinds of loss or trauma but have never had space granted to hold or process it. Perhaps you’re looking to more fully understand who you are and dive deeper into why, or just a space to unload daily stresses. Shame and guilt can show up in our lives in ways we sometimes don’t quite understand. While I do work with many populations, I find I work well with women identities and queer folx who have endured, searching for someone to truly listen, hear, and empower to live with authenticity.

I work with clients to help them come into their authentic self with the use of interventions from attachment, somatic, and personal integration therapiest.
My clients are adults seeking testing for autism or ADHD. Maybe a family member was recently diagnosed, you've been given diagnoses that don't make sense, or you're tired of being told your struggles are "all in your head,"that you just need to "try harder" or "stop being so lazy." Maybe you found neurodivergent social media and finally feel understood. I believe you when you say you feel different. Together we can together to discover the "why" behind those feelings. The why that can give you the freedom to rewrite your story.

My areas of specialty are sexual abuse, covert abuse both sexual & emotional, eating disorders & somatic therapy.
"Working with trauma is as much about remembering how we survived as it is about what is broken." These words were written by Bessel van der Kolk and are words that guide my practice as a therapist. We all face hard stuff in life, and for each person what that looks like differs and cannot be held up to others for comparison. Pain is Pain. The good news, however, is that also means that hope is hope and joy is joy. The hard events we face in our lives are teachers that give each of us an opportunity to face our fears head on and heal to fully embrace who we were always meant to become!

I am EMDR & CPT certified, and have additional training in polyvagal theory, attachment, and somatic experience therapy.
Life is challenging and seems to grow more challenging by the day. I offer a warm and non judgmental space to explore the pulls on our lives- parenthood, work, adult parents with personality disorders. We may explore how your childhood impacts today or process through a trauma that has been a barrier to moving forward. I offer both a space to explore feelings as well as solutions to the challenges we face.
