I am licensed in both Oregon and Washington and have worked in the field of mental health for over 35 years. My experience ranges from treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and self-esteem issues to more severe and persistent mental health conditions. I have extensive experience treating personality disorders and enjoy working with anyone who is committed to change in their lives. Additionally, I have worked with families of those coping with mental health issues and can assist in providing them with support and education about mental health, as well as resources available to their family.
I specialize in working with transgender individuals. I assess and refer for medical treatment as appropriate, and I provide professional letters as needed. I am also designated as a Geriatric mental health specialist, with training completed through the University of Washington.
Due to my longevity in the field of mental health, my work extends to a very wide range of mental health issues. I have significant knowledge of local resources for housing, emergency assistance, and other support services. Additionally, I frequently collaborate with local nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, and other medication prescribers.
