For many of my clients, they have spent a long time wondering if they are neurodivergent (including autistic or having ADHD) but finding an adult-focused provider is a challenge. My approach is to understand your questions, goals, and challenges, and to develop strategies both for you and for the environments you are in to best fit your needs. Having a diagnosis can be a great step toward understanding yourself more intimately and can open doors to wonderful community.
I specialize in autism and neurodivergence in adolescence and adulthood. Assessment is my primary focus. As a clinical psychologist and with my experience in the field, mental health is a huge component of any assessment or therapeutic relationship; anxiety, depression, PTSD... if you're wondering how many pieces come together for you, I can help!
Whether you're wondering about a diagnosis or looking for some resources, my goal is to provide accessible and useful information. I use a social model of disability framework (e.g., how can we train doctors to better serve neurodivergent patients) and strive to collaborate and refer to other providers who do the same.
